William Barnes has the following programme of Outdoor Education residentials in KS2.
Year 4 – Carey Camp – shelter building, orienteering, team building exercises, one night in May, Warehom Forest
Year 5 – Leeson House – beach study, pond dipping, environmental art, Corfe Castle visit – two nights in March, Isle of Purbeck
Year 6 – PGL – climbing, raft building archery, fencing, abseiling – two nights in September, Osmington Bay near Weymouth
Children are expected to take part in the program and financial help is available to families if needed.A presentation to parents is given in December each year explaining the programme to parents.
