Clubs

The William Barnes School Choir meets at lunchtimes to practice songs for a number of events and occasions through out the year.  As well as a number of concerts for parents held during the school day, the choir also perform at the Pyramid Carol concert in December and the opening of the school’s Christmas market.  In the run up to the festive season, the choir visit local care homes and sing for the residents.  At present, Mrs Gilham is in charge of the school choir.

There are many lunchtime and afternoon clubs that your child can choose from.  These vary from term to term but include

chess, football, reading, netball, sewing, dance, cricket, rugby, tennis, cross country running, athletics, basketball, handball, fencing, archery and lacrosse.
